my french auntie

i thought i would take a brief moment to give the low down on my life. my name is jessica boyce. i am a poor college student that currently does not have a job (which will hopefully will change within the next month), and has to buy weird books like one called "When Jesus Came, the Corn Mothers Went Away," for my history class. this is what my week has been: 

on saturday i said the hardest goodbye to someone that i wont be seeing for 2 years.

on sunday i said more goodbyes to my family and i drove 3.5 hours north of everything and everyone i know to UVU. i unpacked all my crap and began my settling process, which was no picnic in the park because of unsturdy clothes racks that break lamps and mirrors which gives you 7 years of bad luck.

monday i went to my first day of college. I LOVE IT A LOT! (especially math: i'm kind of a math geek) alexa and i conquered the setting up our internet router which what was a H-E-double hockey sticks-ish task! after about 3 hours time it was a huge success!

tuesday consisted of classes and homework. i've been in college for 4 days and i already feel more intelligent then i ever did in all my years of HS.

wednesday was a day filled with greasy hair, a 1 page paper on my strengths and weaknesses as a writer: where i discovered i have no strengths as a writer, putting together my bedroom and installing wireless printers all by myself!

as for today (thursday), i have gone to classes, jiffy lube and i am now in my bedroom listening to my tunes and adjusting to this new life.

as you can see, everyday is getting easier and a smidge more comfortable! good thing i have alexa with me, otherwise i'd still be a wreck! thanks for listening all! have a good one!

ps. i'm not usually the kind of girl to be all weird about the boy they like but lately i have been so i'm sorry... but i'm not really sorry!
